WINE TASTING

Edith and Dario are happy to announce that in 2011 we are commencing a collaboration that will begin this season.

Dario Castagno the worldwide claimed author of books (autobiographies and novels) based in Chianti will be more than happy to entertain guests at Fattoria Tregole winery. Dario lives close to Tregole and on request he will join you for a relaxed educational intro on the history, legends and lore of Chianti. He will also tour you through our ancient cellar, presenting the wines produced by us. Dario will greet our guests at the reception and accompany you through the estate and cellars with a meticulous explanation of the wine history and its traditions. En route we will sample 3 different wines and our olive oil, accompanied with light snacks. Not the usual wine tour but an experience filled with anecdotes, local legends and lore. Also you will have the chance to discuss his books.

Period: This tour is available 7 days a week, from March to November .
Cost is 20 Euros per person and lasts approx 90 minutes

Opening hours: at 11 a.m.

On request the wine-tasting can end up in the dinner with our great Tuscan specialties
